Barbican Young Film Programmer

I curated at the Barbican Centre as a Young Film Programmer with a lovely cohort to deliver the 10-year anniversary edition of the Chronic Youth Film Festival 2025. We spent countless evenings analysing films with strangers-turned-friends every week at the Barbican (and continuing in an overly active WhatsApp group chat).

Our programme, Against All Odds, explored resilience, community, and memory on screen. We started with hundreds of films and ended up with a select few to feature at the festival. We screened exclusive previews, UK-first premieres, and award-winning shorts which reclaimed lost legacies and gave a voice to buried narratives.

Given the genocide still occurring in Palestine, I was especially proud to co-host the Shorts panel which centered around censorship and resistance.
